    Hi Podio Admin,
    you can't update a text field with a calculation, you need a flow (Podio Advanced Workflow aka Globiflow).

    Hi Rainer Grabowski thank you. I use Globiflow to program my workspaces. Do you know how I would be able to achieve this using Globiflow? Thank you

    Hi Julian Dumitrascu, thank you for your help. How would I be able to achieve this? This is my work account (called Podio Admin which is annoyingly confusing when adding comments onto this forum!) Thanks

    My profile links to my social profile. This means that we can use LinkedIn and Podio, which are actual communication programs.

    Hey Podio Admin,

    flow in App B:
    When an Item was updated
    Categor field changed
    Category equal to Completed
    Get referenced item(s) from App A
    Update collected from A
    textfield= Calc [(Ref A-item) textfield]."<br>".[App B Item ID].": ".[App B field(s)]

    1 It's important to use Update Collected, not Update Referenced.
    2. In the Update action you first have to add the existing content of the textfield [(Ref A-item) textfield]. "<br>" adds a line break. [App B Item ID] is vor identitying the App B item (You can also use the item title or nothing). .[App B field(s)] -> add your fields you  want to be stored in the text field. You can change the order if you want the newest completed item at the top: [App B field(s)]."<br>". [(Ref A-item) textfield]
