Item Activity / Comments Side Bar

I would like the ability to default the activity / comments side bar to comments rather than activity.

I find most of the time I want to know the comments  not the activity.  I'd rather have to select  "Activity" to see when and what has changed in the item, then to have to continually select comments to get a more concise reading of the comments
