Double emails

Dear Support team,


I have an issue with my CRM in Podio. 

Every time the employees of the company send an email using the sales@... mail, this gets routed to our "eMails" app, together with the contacts that are included in the email. For each new email, a new Contact is created in the "Contacts" app.

Some of the contacts are new and some are pre-existent inside the "Contacts" app since we have already exchanged emails with them. 

For some reason, even though some emails are already catalogued in the "Contacts" app, Podio does not recognize this and still creates a new email.

Can you please help?
