Is there a way to be notified when someone joins Podio?

There might be a simpler way...but here's a way I can think of doing this.

You can register a webhook for the member.add event on your Employee Network that posts to a Podio Workflow automation (Globiflow) flow, and then in that flow you notify yourself in some way (e.g. a task, send message, or other)

Here's some documentation on the webhooks:

To register the webhook, you'll need the workspace ID of your employee network. You can use this procfu script to get that ID:

    Hi Bill

Thank you for replying. I am completely confused by webhooks and procfu though - is there any chance that you can walk me through how to set up registering a webhook? The procfu script returned an error - ERROR: PodioNotFoundError: "Object not found" - so I'm not sure what I've done wrong there. I *think* I used the organisation ID number (the first number in a webform link) but I may have got the wrong end of the stick on how the script works.

Sorry to be awkward - while I can code Podio and Globiflow reasonably well, there is a lot I still don't understand.

Thanks in advance for any help!

    Hi Susan

In procfu, do you have an API service for Podio set up?  If not, this would be the first step in the process.  Here are some links to setting up an API service within Procfu:

Note that the second link requires membership in the Procu users workspace.   If you're not a member, you can use this link to join:

Once you have the API Service for Podio set up in your Procfu account, you can use the api_make_request script to register and verify a member.add event webhook on your Employee Network workspace.
