New user: Workflows - New item created?

    Hi Steve,

    did you select the option: "Send E-Mail when new task" in your account settings?


    And test it without beeing in that item - if you have this item opened, Podio assumes you are in the item and doesn't notify you..

    Hi Rainer,

    Not quote sure what happened here, but we were testing the workflow, and I logged out and back in again, and it's all working as it should.

    I did double check the setting you mention, and had all checkboxes checked - maybe that was the problem?

    Hey Steve,

    Is the new calls automatically created as an item in the app?

    If yes, all you need to do is to ensure you are following the app and your email notifications are set to "everything I follow" - so you get an email when a new item is posted: https://help.podio.com/hc/en-us/articles/201019968-Email-notifications

    Then you should be notified automatically when a new item is created.

    Where did you get the app that alows you to monitor your google voice account?

    Hi Thurmon,

    You'll need to use "Email to App" which you'll find by clicking the spanner icon when you're inside any of your workspaces.

    There are a couple of useful tutorials on how to set this up on YouTube (maybe here too?)
