Changing calendar colors

When I'm looking at the calendar of a workspace, all items on the calendar, regardless of which app they are from, are green. Can we assign a color to each app so that I can quickly differentiate the items by app? I know the icons show which app it's from, but looking for icons is much harder than a quick overview with colors.

  This is a much requested feature in Podio Veronica, but as yet unimplemented.

  If it helps, it's fairly simple to integrate Podio calendar apps with (for instance) Google or Exchange calendar, where colorization may be easier for now.

  There may also be third party support; try Zappier or Globi.

  I would love to be able to assign a color directly to a date field.  For example, I'm working on an app to track software renewals.  I want the last renewed date on the calendar to be green and the expiration date on the calendar to be red.
