Cannot reference field in a related app

I am trying to calculate a "sum of amount" using the calculation field in an app. I want to pull the info from a field in another app in the same work space. The other app references the one in which I want to do the calculation, but when I type in the "@" symbol to attempt to reference it, the option to reference this field does not appear. This same app already has a calculation reference to another app in the same works pace that works fine so I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong as it's been a while since I used this functionality.

  Hi Paul,

  you have to type @sum of NameOfTheAmountField, A list pops up which gets smaller the mor you type. Select the token from the list, that's it.
