Add possibility to filter on related items

When I make a reference from an item (a) in one app to one (b) in another app, that reference shows up on the reference item like so http://puu.sh/i2bJI.png. However it's not possible to filter items based on referenced item as shown here http://puu.sh/i2bK7.png.

Right now, I am working on a workaround, using workflows, to add the the title of (a) to a field in (b). This is possible, but only as a string, which is also not possible to filter on.

Therefore I would like to request a possibility to filter based on referenced items.

    Hi Matias,

    have you considered adding the reference field to (b) instead of (a)? That way you will be able to filter the way you want (if I understand your question correctly).

    Thanks! Indeed that is possible, in my specific set-up it's just not as quick as you need to to references from several items to one item instead of from one item to several. So I think the feature is stil relevant even though the flow you describe works.

    I would like to see this feature as well. I have an app with Purchase Orders and another with invoices that are related to those Purchase Orders. I would like to filter the Purchase Orders by how many invoices they have related to them. Incidentally if a PO has no invoices I know we have a problem...
