    +1 This would be incredibly useful in order for me to collaborate and manage our social media team. They need to have access to a few apps within our Marketing Workspace (Content Planner, Social Calendar, Events) but they don't need access to all of the other apps in the workspace.

    This conversation is going on for 4 years. Is there any progress? We have a situation where I need to share one competitors app from our marketing projects with the rest of the sales team and see I cannot do it yet???

    If still needed, I can describe my company needs for your consideration:

    We sell lighting projects, and both sales people and electricians are external. Sales people get a commission for each project sold; electricians are hired for each project.

    For confidenciality reasons I cannot share the whole Projects app with them, but they should both interact in the app (update the items).

    Also, some fields should not be shared to the external workers: for instance sales commission, which the electricians don't need to know.

    Thank you I hope you may develop it soon, you would make a lot of people happier and more loyal to Podio =)

    We would like our sales people to share certain apps (or even just views) but not have access to the entire workspace

    +1. I want to give someone access to the items in a specific app, but not the rest of the apps/items in the workspace. While I "could" move the app to a separate workspace that just creates workspace clutter IMO.

    Why is Podio making things so difficult?? Can't you see this is necesary. You're acting like Microsoft  instead of Google which makes things easier for people... +1 to sharing apps.. start listening to your customers or you might eventually lose them to new players like Monday and Clickup which are really great too btw

    Hi Bettina,

    Thank you for reaching out to us here with your concerns. We would like to collect some additional information and if you have the time, Sara has posted this statement and an ask;

    "We are looking to conduct customer interviews to better understand your use-case on how to potentially solve this problem in Podio and Citrix Workspace in the future.

    If anyone would be interested to participate in a quick interview and customer research about this topic, feel free to get in touch with support and use subject-line:

    Att. Sara Høeg - research candidate for sharing apps and data views

    Please also link this idea in the support ticket for clarification.

    No ETA or timeline to when/if this would be possible. We are just conducting research in order to better understand the need and what a potential solution should cover."

    While I am not sure if Sara is still taking these requests, it couldn't hurt to ask as the post was only a few months ago. But I completely understand your needs with this capability in Podio.

    Best,

    Dana - Podio
