Filter items that are NOT something

At the moment the only way to do this is by selecting every option except the one you want to exclude. If you've got a big list of options, this can be time consuming. You'd also need to keep updating it if new options are added. It should be an option to say I want everything except this...

Kind Regards,
David

Not in the short-term roadmap but hopefully planned for later :)

I'm increasingly disappointed by the weakness of Podio in filtering.

I have a use case that naturally wants to have 30+ lead sources, yet it's extremely difficult to craft a filter.  It can literally take 5 minutes of clicking because of how the screen redraws ....  the first few are easy then it becomes click, scroll scroll click, scroll scroll.

Why can't we get something more powerful here?

lacking a logical NOT isn't the only weakness but it's a glaring one.

Hey Podio team,

Just wanted to let you know this feature would have a huge impact for my organization. Any plans for getting this in the roadmap?

Cheers,

Lisa

This would be really nice to have.  Any update on status of this feature?

This would be very valuable to my organization. As-is it is extremely difficult to build effective filters.

We too are looking forward to this feature 👍

Use case:
600+ items that are mark for progress in 5 category steps (1,2,3,4,5) via API.

We want to get an overview of all items that have done only step 1 & 2, to follow them up, but not mess up the with the rest. From what I understand this can't be done out of the box in Podio.

It would be great to have this function. When you have several hundred items to select from, it is impossible to select all to be able to exclude one or two from the list.

Thank you.

Yes. This is a huge disappointment. I have brokers that are also investors. I don't want to email blast these brokers with all my deals. If I filter by investors and leave broker unchecked, it still pulls them up because they are also classified as an investor. How do you filter to exclude? What is the hold up here? It has been three years!

Any news with this update?  It's been more than 4 years since the first post.  Podio team, we would like your comments.

As a developer, it is obvious that would be relatively trivial to develop while it extremely important as a basic filter necessity. Let's get it on it Podio dev team!.
