    Hey Craig

No offline version I'm afraid - as Podio is primarily using real-time functions (real-time commenting, chat, video) this would be very complex to build.

    Thanks for sharing your idea!

    Cheers,

    Dear Sara - Podio

The offline for sure it will not be for chatting (the whole chat concept is to be online)

The offline feature is totally required, when I'm like on a site and I want to add a Task to my tasks, or if I want to comment on something already added, then its needed to have that offline feature, and once I'm online, everything should be synchronized.

As a Sales Director for Three regions, this will stop me from having this platform as a standard for my team, we are currently using Trello, but I found some features at your end more powerful. but since you don't support the "offline" Mood. this is killing Really ! wish that a Senior Manager in Podio will read this comment and take it seriously.

Our management team is fully aware of this - we forward all product inputs and ideas directly to the team via Podio :)

All product ideas are also handled by our Product Manager when you select "Idea for Podio" and click to contact support in top right corner.

And for now we cannot prioritize building offline capabilities - sorry about that! I do understand how it could be useful though, but I'm afraid I cannot promise anything specific.

    Cheers,
    Sara - Podio

    Hey Jesper,

    No plans so far.

We're looking into a native app for iOS desktop but this would also be online and not offline sync.

I am also casting a vote for offline use. Podio is my company's main source of task and project management. We compose emails while offline to send once we are back online and have syncing capabilities for our client work, but it's a challenge to be able to work in everything offline, except our task manager. Please consider this! Thanks!

I want it to be heard, i want offline use too.

Or maybe side app / software, that not include co-vorkers, only personal projects? (I am, for example using podio alone.)

I have looked at competitive cloud apps like ProWorkFlow which has an Off-Line capability. Podio should be developing some off-line capability as not everyone has unlimited funding for network data charges.

    Bump ! :)

Evernote etc can be used Offline and then synced later, It's a fairly similar situation.

3 years have past and still no offline version. Check out Trello and their offline abilities. It could work with Podio as well. Any chances soon?

Offline sync would be great. I would be happy without the latest activity stream. There are many other apps which manage to do such a thing. Perhaps you could look at their code?

Believe it or not, there are still many places that don't have 3g or wifi. Many people need to use the app mobile, and it means you are restricted to locations that have a 3g / 4g signal.

Apple have managed to achieve this with offline sync.

Is there anything happening around this topic? Or did we miss something? We would still - in 2019 - very much appreciate a desktop app to organize work and manage projects while being on the move and therefore sometimes offline.

    Thanks, Tommi
