restricted api access for 3rd parties
Hi,
I'm a podio newbie, apologies for my ignorance in adavnce. I did search through your material, I couldn't answer the question I have below.
Preamble:
I have created an a set of apps in a workspace that I am looking to privately publish for the use of our company.
I am looking to publish a new work space for each one of my cleints containing this set of apps.
What I am lookng to do:
I would like to permit each of my cleints an API access to add or POST and GET data into their associated apps in their own workspace/space on our instance of Podio. I certainly don't want them to be able to view or edit any other workspaces in our instace of podio.
Q's :
1. How would I be able to achieve this ?
2. Can I restrict which app they can GET/POST ?
3. Which authentication method is best to give them ?
4. Which API would we give the cleint so they can POST / GET data from the appoacted apps/worspace ?
Big thanks in adavnce :)

Hi Frank,
The Podio API is just a way for you to programmatically interact with your Podio data. It does not allow you to change the behavior of Podio by e.g. implementing new security models etc.
In other words: You can use the API to automate the actions you can make manually on Podio.
