Can I freeze a column in a view

I have a long number of columns in a view.
If I scroll to the right, my first column disappears. This has the customers name in it.
Can I freeze that column in the view so it does not shoot off the the right?

  We don't offer a way to do this but it's a great suggestion. I see why it would be useful! I will pass that along.

  almost a decade later and still not possible? It comes across as request disappearing in a black hole... What is the process of Podio prioritising request and following up to the Podio community 

   

  Freezing panes is an absolute must as not having it makes using Podio for users a lot more inconvenient...
