Hey Guys,
Thanks for all the feedback - please report all technical bugs and issues in a support request via "Contact us" in the top blue bar of the Help Centre. This will be very helpful :)
We will work to improve and tweak the functionality the coming weeks so all feedback is welcome!
@Iselle - we're aware of the issue with "refresh" and this will be fixed in the following updates.
@Jeff - you should have a "x" in top right corner or be able to click outside the item to leave it? We'll work on the automatic "refresh" functionality :)
@Richard - we have added small improvements to almost every field in the app. If you follow our blog we will share blog posts this week that will go through all the small details of the release :)
@Jeroen - we will work to add this functionality as well! Thanks for letting us know :)
You might find this blog post from our CTO useful as well: http://blog.podio.com/2014/04/29/creator-feedback/

Hi Sara, I'm not so convinced that the new architecture has added value to the way I work but its a bit too early to be categorical - In fact, I was expecting much more "power" in the app (templates) upgrades and work flow.
I can see that the calculation item has been vastly improved but I can't see much fundamental change elsewhere or perhaps I just haven't discovered everything yet.
Is there a general overview of all the changes available?
Thanks and keep up the good work - I like PODIO but its potential has not yet been unleashed...;)

I like the update, however my team and I have discovered a few bugs that is making life a little difficult. First, when editing a field in an item, the change does not show in the list view until a page refresh is done. Then also when filtering, sometimes the developer's name appears as a number and only corrects when removing the filter and re-adding the name. Hope I explained this clearly enough. Let me know if you require screenshots.

Unfortunately for us the update has caused more inefficiencies for us, too:
1. Tabs: Using tabs to jump from field to field... we hope you will fix this soon
2. Opening Entries: Not being able to slide through entries of a list (the option where it would first show on the right side and only open full screen if I wanted to). This really helped to quickly find the "right" entry
3. Linking Entries: When filling out a template with links there was a preview of the linked entry which is now gone. We had some information about our customers that were important to fill out templates and once the correct customer was selected, I could click on it, without actually opening it and it would show a dropdown of the entry... we miss that!
4. Stability: I was kicked out several times today... -
Thank you Till. We will work to address the issues - here's a related note from our CTO Christian Holm: http://blog.podio.com/2014/04/29/creator-feedback/

I really dislike the new way the app records are displayed with the app record overlayed on top of everything else. It's a big step backwards and make navigation of app content cumbersome and really annoying.
I can no longer quickly navigate from one record to another. I am forced to either go back to the record list by clicking on a close button or the cascade menu at the top and then click on the next record I want to view, or sequentially scroll through records to get to the one I want to view (and who can remember which direction left and right arrows are when scrolling through a data list?).
Please fix this, it's made working with Podio worse.
There are also bugs that make my customer order form apps unusable and I am losing orders because I can't view or amend the data in my user web order form apps. All I get are blank records with no ability to edit them. I'm going to report the bugs.
Can we please have the previous app navigation screens back? This single record view forced overlay on the screen is annoying.

Since the new update I can tell it's been a nightmare working with Podio (for everyone I know using it). It's a big step back for many reasons. The overlay system is confusing and makes navigation so slow compared to the quick previews we had before, and I'm not talking about the related items detail showing up in the same window before. Having the tasks moved at the bottom is something I cannot understand as it is one of the most important thing to see when looking at an item. I love Podio and I pushed the tool in my organizations and now they are telling me it's a pain to work with. I saw a post were it says Podio have been working on this for the past 6 months, it's a lot of work put into this, but please consider to step back on some of the things you did. Regards

Thanks for sharing your feedback guys - and yes, we will collect all the feedback we can the coming weeks and hopefully make improvements based on what we hear :)
