You can use a category field to keep track of state and set up filters so you only see the items you are working on. You can see a video on filtering here: https://help.podio.com/entries/21713277-using-filters-and-reports

The problem is that I will change the filters for all users every week? We have a lot of users using this app.

I would like to make a service that archive my items in the end of the week.

I'm thinking to copy the app  and each week, move the finished items to the new app. What do you think about this.

We have similar issues. We have car hire and airport transfer apps which, once the contract date is passed, need to be archived. The work around's suggested may work but are not ideal - is there really no way to archive data simply and efficiently. If you can't archive the data set just gets larger and larger and more and more difficult to use.

    Am I missing something?

We also have the same issue. Looks like it's been requested as a feature here:

    I just upvoted it.

Cant you just export the items that are no longer active to an Excel spreadsheet? This could be kept as your "archive" you then still have the data and if really needed you could always import the data back into Podio later...
