Sorry for the extremely late reply, but if you can get the contacts out in some kind of Excel-supported format (.csv or similar) then you can open that in Excel, save it as an Excel file and then import the content into a specific "Contacts" app that you can create yourself.

    Hi all.

What I struggle with is understanding how to marry my contacts with the appropriate account from salesforce. What I would like to know, does anyone have a step by step guide, that walks through each of the steps to export the accounts and the contacts (which are different csv files for me) and then merge that data and then import into Podio???

Not sure if I have explained this well, though any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Is is possible. I just finished loading all of our AF Accounts (Podio companies) and then loaded all the relevant contacts. The way I did it is when I first loaded all the companies (SF Accounts) and I created a new field in Podio called SFAccountID. After that was loaded, I loaded all the contacts but this time I mapped the SFACCOUNTID to the same field on the account. Podio immediately linked the contacts to the correct accounts. You can even delete these fields once you are done.

You can directly import your contacts from Salesforce to Podio with the help of Skyvia.
