scrolling on native android application?

Hi 

When I get a notification that someone has commented on an item, I open the Podio app and it opens the item but does not go to the last comment made. I have to scroll through all previous replies to get to the bottom. Has this always been the case or is it a recent change or a certain setting I have changed.
I thought it used to auto scroll down to the last comment. Or I think it works this way for my iPhone colleagues.

Or even if I want to just simple make new comment and there's already heaps of them. I have to scroll a way that is not so user friendly not to talk about ergonomics.
