+1 for this. We want to create an app for employees to perform periodic self-evaluation, and would like for the items created to be private to the person that created them.

Edit - I wrote a workaround based on my misreading of the problem. Looking back I now agree that this is a silly problem to have in an application that is essentially just lots of database tables...
