Podio Year In Review - 2022

As we wrap up 2022, we thought it would be a good idea we look back and summarise the most notable product updates of 2022.

Transition to a independent Business Unit
One of the biggest changes at Podio this year to transition from Citrix to whole new independent business unit 'ShareFile' within the new Cloud Software Group: https://www.cloud.com/. This also means we are no longer associated with "Citrix" as a company, but will transition into our own business unit and operate as a private company. While this transition kept our teams engaged for a while, it also means we will have much more control over what we want to built for our users to make Podio more competitive and help it stay upto date.
New Feature Highlights:

Delete Podio Chat messages
A highly requested feature over the years, this new features helps you to recall any sensitive information sent to a colleague or a client by mistake. All a user needs to do is go to the Conversations page, hover on the message block and delete it. Learn more

New App View Pane - 77% faster
We brought in improved performance as well as UI improvements to optimise the View Pane User experience for you. Learn More

User restrictions
We helped admins get more control for their Paid Organisations to allow only Organisation Admins to create Workspaces and delete Apps and Workspaces. Learn More

Enable Multi select of Documents and Images for the iOS App
iOS Podio mobile app users can now select multiple documents and images at once to upload to an item, comment or status. Learn More

Filters in iOS App Search
Podio iOS users can now enjoy refined search on their mobile search, with the support we have now added for filters in search. Learn More

Use My Current Location" feature on IOS Mobile App
Now, users can auto-capture their current location in the Location field on the Podio iOS App. Learn More
- Custom voting and Star Rating on Podio Android App: Users can now view and cast votes in the custom voting field on an item. This is also supported in the 'Share a Question' in the activity stream. Users can now view and add to the Star rating field on an item. Learn More
Workflow Automation Feature Highlights:

File upload as trigger (Fresh out of the oven!)
Podio Workflow Automation users can now trigger a workflow based on file upload (attachment) to app items. Learn More

Download centralised error Logs
This feature makes it easier for users to get an overall view of different flows in execution together by downloading logs for all your flows from the Centralised Error Log. Learn More

Workflow Automation to use v2 RightSignature APIs
With the V2 RightSignature APIs, users can now seamlessly edit RS templates in workflow automation and utilise higher rate limkts of 60 doc send call/min and 240 doc send calls/hour. Learn More

Calculations Improvements
While are working behind the scenes to not only optimise our infrastructure and queue implementation, we heard your thoughts about keeping customers more informed about their calculation status. We will be adding visual cues to calculation field to let you know when your calculation was last updated or its currently under process.

Table Layout improvements
We know you love using the Table layout in Podio and agree that it has some features missing. But something great is cooking which will make the Table layout of your app more seamless and smooth!

Good morning. With the transition to an independent business unit, will the responsiveness go back to Podio of old when there's an issue? I have a ticket that has been in for a couple months without any apparent movement to the point that the response I've gotten back says
"Unfortunately, we haven't received updates from Podio engineering about the issue with Relationship fields not being required in Podio webforms, even though they are configured to be required. As soon as we get new information about this issue, we will contact you again via email."
It's not a good thing when you can't get responses from within your own company.
I'm a huge Podio fan - I'd love to see this shift result in a return to the company that I first started using in 2012.
