Entering data in App1 incl. RELATIONSHIP to App2 where I have a figure needed for the calculation.

Hi All, been using PODIO for over 8yrs and it works great. I have one issue to solve, case:

Apartment Developer PODIO case study:

App: COST (Cost to build apartment block) links via RELATIONSHIP to App: APARTMENT.

APARMENT App has 5 apartments in it with a numeric field that represents a its share in the whole building based on square meters it represents. All 5 apartments numeric fields add up to value 1. This way we get a coeficient (decimal number <1) for each apartment and multiply it by the COST to get the cost for each apartment so we can have COST amount for each apartment based on its m2 size.

PROBLEM: We enter item in App COST incl RELATIONSHIP field where we link ther 5 apartments and below that we enter the COST of $100. After we save the item, PODIO DOES NOT draw the coeficient from App APARTMENTS and does not multiply the cost of $100. I think it is because PODIO cannot draw the coeficient from App APARTMENTS when you hit SAVE. Even after SAVING and refresh, it does not calculate. It seems that if you link RELATIONSHIP field in an item, it cannot draw on fields from RELATED apps to do calculations. Please advise what I am doing wrong or any workaround?
