I ound a Youtube tutorial on setting up Podio for real estate investors, but I am having issues getting the marketing campaign to pop up when typing.  This is only a dummy lead, but I cannot seem to get it to load after typing the first word.

Hi Jesse, in my experience, integrating Twilio with Podio is very easy and you can also do SMS blast on a certain targeted leads in your Podio account (I have a lot of experience in doing so and I can help you out with that), however Twilio in my opinion is very costly to do a text blast.

I'd recommend using ClickSend to do SMS blasts, the flow would be that you can generate the leads via batch leads- > Sync all those leads in a list with ClickSend API (for example October Leads will go to a list in Clicksend named October leads) -> have a blast app in which you can select the list  -> enter whatever text you want to send -> select a phone number from ClickSend -> and click a button to send a text message to all those leads, all actions done via ClickSend API.

Clicksend is cheap, reliable, and also you can rotate your phone lines to do SMS blast to prevent spam detection for moderate list volumes like (300-400 numbers per list).

Regarding Marketing Campaign which you're not able to search and attach in your last comment, the reason could be that there is no items created in your Campaigns app, OR could be that your field is not connected with your Campaigns app (simply click Modify Template -> Locate that field -> click Refererences and make sure your Marketing Campaigns app is selected in that field)

Let me know if any further help is needed.

    All the best!

Thanks for the very thorough reply.  I just signed up for Clicksend. I would appreciate some assistance with the Podio. What type of leads are sms-friendly when it comes to Podio?

I am currently on a batchleads trial (bc I hear that their skiptracing is really accurate compared to propstream). Been using PS for a month, but have not skiptraced any properties yet.  I have been using True People search. If I were to cancel my trial for Batch, would their skiptracing be worth using at 20 cents per? I would hate to spend $200+ (99 for PS + 99 BL + skip tracing charges) I hear great things about IDI data for skip tracing.

Hi Jesse, I will be able to help in setting up ClickSend SMS blast with Podio since I have a technical background for integration and automation, however I'm not really sure what you mean by leads which are SMS friendly? I can assure you that I have been with PropStream and BatchLeads both with my clients and I have seen both PS and BL leads converted to a "lead under contract", so I'd say you should go with this setup -> import leads in Podio and start SMS blasting as per the area of those leads or lead type and see the results.

Let me know if any help is needed from my end!

    Thanks!

My apologies for the confusion. You mentioned in your initial reply that you can do SMS blast on a certain targeted leads in your Podio account.  I just wanted some clarification on what you meant with the "certain targeted leads". Does clicksend allow you to purchase local area code phone numbers?  I tried to add Podio with Clicksend, but it says i need Zapier to connect Podio and Clicksend.

    Thanks!

Hi Jesse, I apologise as well for confusion, by "Certain Targeted Leads" I mean the following: let's say you exported leads in October and want to do an SMS blast on them, those are the certain leads which can be synced to ClickSend under a specific lead named "October Leads" and then do an SMS blast on them.

Yes Clicksend allows you to purchase a phone number based on area code.

Zapier can also be used to do the SMS blast, however I can do that without using zapier, because if you use Zapier, it's going to take a lot of Zap runs, which will cost you as well, which in my opinion is very in-efficient in terms of cost, the way I integrate clicksend with Podio is by using Clicksend API and making API calls from Podio to sync contacts as well as doing SMS blast to that list.

So in simpler words, you can export a monthly list from PropStream or Batch Leads -> Import them to Podio -> Sync them with Clicksend -> use that list to do an SMS blast in a Podio app.

Let me know if any help is required from my end, I've got a solid background in integration and automation with Podio with any API that you want.

    Thanks!

Appreciate the thorough reply.  I would love to connect if you're available sometime this week. A Zoom call?  What are you using for skip tracing?

What do you think of IDI data?

    Is Clicksend 10dlc compliant?

Hello Automations Bot Id like to learn more about incorporating twilio into podio to send text messages. I currently use batch for mass texting and prefer to text more personal, one by one messages. Can this be done in podio with twilio integration? I dont have any experience with ClickSend. Id love to learn more about this and set it up if its easily doable. Thank you
