Related Items - More user-friendly view
Hello,
I have had some feedback from my team that they would like to be able to have a better overview of related items connected to one item so they know which one to open as this can take up a lot of time.
This is how we operate:
1) An item is received (referral for a service)
2) Every time a team member contacts the client, they complete a report which is linked (relationship field) to the referral item (1)
3) When they need to open a specific report, they have to open every individual one to find the one they need (if they have forgotten the day it was completed).
They want a better overview of what the report item contains. I have tried to change the banner layout to add more information at first sight, but the view is still very limited.
If anyone has any ideas on how I can make this more user-friendly for them please let me know.

There are a few ways of tweaking the reference badge (banner layout):
You could create an ID field that combines a number of things in one line, and then display that ID field as the title in your reference badge
e.g. "CARE199 - 2022-09-08 (DONE)" could be a combination of Reference No, date and status.
Some other things you can do:
- take a single-line text field called "short description" to provide quick information at a glance in the ref badge
- display a category field you want to manage from that reference badge, e.g. status
- display a link from a link field in the ref badge: the link will be clickable.

Thank you Bavo De Cooman this is what I have tried to do with the example. I have included:
- ID number
- Files attached
- Description
But as you can see from the description, not a lot of information is shown, unfortunately.
