Calendar App Layout fix
The current Podio calendar is terrible. You can't create events directly for it and the integration with external calendars is only half there. In addition you can't even access a workspace calendar without first going to the activity page and clicking the wrench icon and then clicking workspace calendar, this should be a single click at the top of the screen from any app within that workspace.
To avoid all of these issues, I created a calendar app. This gives you a straight forward calendar with some ability to build custom integrations. It involves a lot more work but the built in Podio calendar doesn't have much to offer so it was the route I went with.
The big thing that annoys me that needs to be fixed about the Calendar app layout is the way it displays the week and day views. In both of these views, all 24 hours of the day are shown by default and with no options to configure. This means any event that is scheduled within normal hours requires you to scroll down to bring it into view. This would be fine if scrolling down didn't cause the view controls and date labels to go off the top of the screen and out of view. In week view this results in a very inconvenient situation where you can see the events for the week or you can see the dates, but not both at the same time.
The fix would be to make the Calendar layout view scroll function the same way it does in the Podio calendar.
I would whip up some annotated screenshots to better explain but I don't see a place to add images.
