Workflow to auto-assign a manager when a new item is created in a different app

I feel like this is a basic flow but i'm new to Podio and can't seem to get it after many hours of searching. I feel like this should be very possible using the relationship fields but i'm not sure.

I have 3 different apps within a workspace that will be referenced. I have a Team Members app with our employees and their info. One of these Team Members is set as the "Default Lead Manager for New Leads" within my Company Settings App. This "default" lead manager needs to be auto-assigned via a workflow to every new lead created within our Seller Leads App. 

The flow needs to also recognize when a new or different "default" manager has been chosen within the Settings App, and use that new default for any new leads created going forward in my Sellers Leads App.
