When adding contacts to an item, one can simply add all workspace members by type-ahead and selecting to add the workspace members entry.
But since this is always adding all members of the workspace ignoring their role or membership type in the workspace (except guests) this is not useful if there are contributors as light members and full working employees as regular members in the workspace. Additionally those items are hard to use in the mobile app since the vast amount of contacts occupies most of the items screen real estate and makes working with it much more troublesome.
So this is to propose adding a possibility to refine adding not all or nothing of the workspace members, but to be able to select by kind of membership. Please add the possibility to refine for example using a drop down button that could be visible when adding contacts like in this schematic mock-up (select one option of 'all/regular/light' members, 'all' being the default):
With this also premium members would have more benefit of using light and regular members. Managing items with contacts would be one step more granular, allowing for more control of the user and thus being able to more precisely reflect business needs.
