Hello Nadège and Gabriel, good day!

Last week, we experienced an issue with the integration between Podio and Google, affecting the services that are connected to Google, like exporting the Podio Calendar to Google or using SSO with Google. This issue has been resolved by Podio Engineering however, users experiencing sync issues with the Calendar, may need to reconnect the Google integration in Podio, to fix those issues related with the Calendar synchronization between Podio and Google.

To reconnect your Google Account with Podio, access to your Podio account, click on My account icon (top right corner) and Account Settings (screenshot below):

In Account Settings, click on the Services tab, locate the Google Service, click on Manage and Disconnect.

After this, refresh the page and Connect your Google account with Podio, using the Connect option. This will require to enter your Google Credentials and after this, both accounts should be connected.

After reconnecting your Google account with Podio, go to your Podio Calendar (top left corner), click on the Wrench icon and Export to external calendar.

That will open a window, click on the Google Calendar tab and Add Export. This will send your Podio Calendar and all the events to your Google Calendar, both calendars should be fully synchronized after this.

If you are having issues following these steps, feel free to open a Podio support case using the link below and a Podio specialist will contact you as soon as possible, to work on this situation.

    - Open Podio case: https://support.citrix.com/cscase/ams#/podio

    Thanks,

    Esteban - Podio Support

Thank you very much for your reply! It seems to have worked for me, but it has created a new calendar on Google (maybe because I had renamed the first one).

I am synchronizing with this new calendar only items directly involving me (last option), because it is confusing to have items in my calendar, that look exactly like the ones I am attending, but which do not involve me. Yet I'd like to be able to see the activities of my colleagues. Do you know if there is anyway to add a second google calendar with items I'm following (second option, for ex. so I can see items involving my colleagues) but without duplicating my items?

Thank you very much for your help,

    Best regards,

    Nadège

David Edelstein open a Podio support case with the link that I shared in my previous comment, to verify what may be happening with your Calendars.

Nadège AUSTIN, good to know that the synchronization is working. What you can do in that situation, is to Export the Calendar of the App of those items. That will create a new Calendar with the name of the app and the events in a different color in your Google Calendar (see screenshot below), showing only the items of that app. Unfortunately, this will show all the items of the app, including the ones involving you but it will be a different calendar from your main one.

To do this, access to the Podio app, click on the Wrench icon and Add to Calendar. That will open a new window and there, click on the Google Calendar option and Add Export

    Thanks,

    Esteban - Podio Support

Thank you, Esteban. This worked for me. Last week I started having an error when switching to the Calendar view, but your solution removed the error.

Esteban Delgado Taras Kulbaba  Nadège AUSTIN Gabriel Fournier Filion GFF   My calendar stopped syncing again with Google Calendar. I connected it again with the same Google account it was already connected to. I didn't disconnect it first (it was still showing as exporting to that account).  I just clicked "Settings"  then "Connect to Google Calendar" and picked the same account it was already synced to.  That seemed to fix it.

I must say though that this is problematic. This has happened many times over the past few years. I'm just glad we caught the missing events in our Google Calendar (which is what we rely on).

It's not synching again. Is anyone else having the same issue?

I'd like to continue using Podio, but this is a deal breaker. If I miss a court hearing my clients could get warrants issued against them and be arrested. It's also, needless to say, very unprofessional to fail to appear when your client's case is on calendar...

Also have this problem. Google Calendar doesn't want to sync. Reconnect also not work.
