Is it possible to change the Category selection item text dynamically through automation?

  It's not possible to do this using Podio Workflow Automation, but it is possible via the Podio API or extensions that simplify access to the API such as Procfu.

  This is the procfu script I had in mind

  Podio App Update - ProcFu

  Note this updates the App template.  It does programmatically what you do as an administration when you use "Modify Template."
