Podio becomes read-only and useless
Months ago I faced a very big bug in Podio: The limit of 5000 revision is not a rolling limit, but a hard limit. Off cource a very big design failure and not clearly mentioned. After you hit the limit, you can never change anything in your item!!
So prepare to migrate to a database you can edit as long as you want and leave Podio as soon as possible.
I have contacted the support department but they only repeat it is a mentioned somewhere on the site as a known limitation. On this page it is mentioned as;
- Item revisions: 5,000 revisions (excluding calculation field changes)
Every database engineer will read this is the last 5000 and not as fixed 5000. I have tried to explain this to the support department, but they do not listen and do not provide any solution. As soon as you reach the limit the item is read only and becomes useless in my case.
Conclusion: make sure you leave podio before your data becomes fixed!
Support is telling me to start a 'feature request' for some big mistake they made in their design... Feature request are just a way to stop the discussion. Requests are there for years and nobody is doing anything at Podio to provide solutions.

Regardless of various uninstalls and reinstalls of Podio fo steam workshop download, it never appears in Gmail. Different applications do, beneficial and RTM for example. An email correspondence with Podio to and fro never settled my issue and the last correspondence with the organization shows that I'm the ONLY individual to have this issue, and they can't copy it.

Cloning is not an option. Several apps are linked to the app items causing the troubles right now. We need to relink all these items (thousands) and there is no way to do this fast; need to create workflows, but we will hit the ratelimits within a few seconds. I have contacted support and they seem to understand this 'feature' is kiling Podio as a solution for the long term. Next week they discus it with the development team. Meanwhile we are still having big isssues because we can not edit these items (the revisions became useless too: i was hoping to revert the an old revision the newer revisions would be removed, but you can not restore a revision because this results in a new revision whick is blocked). Hope it will be fixed soon

Is there still no solution on this? So lang term users will suffer from this bug at some moment? I expect this to be solved or at least come with a solution. My customer who was suffering from this issue now closed their Podio account. I have mulitple clients using Podio, all long term, so I need to advise them for the longterm. And Podio does not seems a solution for long term if this is not fixed.
