Strange behaviour with calculation and relationship fields

I am experiencing lots of strange things with the relationship and calculation fields. I set up a relationship field and the app I am working in (Projects) can see the items in the app it is relating to (Resources). When I then try to set up calculation fields using the relationship, they sometimes work for a few minutes, sometimes not, then sometimes they start producing erroneous figures when I have not touched them since they were working.

Identical calculation fields will also see all items that their separate relationship fields are pointing to for a few minutes, and then the next time (even though I have saved any changes to the template in the interim), they will only see some items. Has anyone experienced anything similar and can help explain this please? Thanks.

  Hi Tim,

  Sometimes calculations might be delayed but we never saw that it produces erroneous figures or wrong results if calculation code is correct. I think something strange with calculation code itself.
