Is there a way to have %like operator functionality in Podio Filter API

I want to have items where the field has a specific word in it. For instance, if I want all the Items with the name John, then if I type John all the items with the name John should return even if their name can be John Doe.

In short, I am looking for a similar functionality of like operator of SQL.
