Podio cards/new element in "DRAFT"
Can I create a new card, can I delete it, can I create it .. but can't I keep draft cards?
Just the other day I had to delete some created cards that I should be using like in a year or so, and since they had already been filled in, I didn't mind keeping them aside. I could not keep them active because they were going to affect other calculation fields of other workspaces.
It would really take a bit of system improvement, you haven't improved the layout and graphics for years now ... Yet it's such a great service!
I hope you activate the improvements.
Anyway thanks for your work.

Barbara Lerici - do you have a category field in the App called "Status" that includes a "Draft" option?
If not, you could potentially address your requirement by creating this field and then applying filters to your App views so that items/cards with status "Draft" are not shown by default in your card view.
In addition, your calculations in other apps/workspaces could be configured such that items/cards with Status=Draft aren't included in your calcs.

Yes, I've used the category system a lot of times.
But it always involves a lot of extra work: that is for each "calculation fields" I have to put the condition that if it is a draft then do not add the values. Complicated when you recall podium codes (sum of values ...)For this reason, it makes sense to me that there is a system inside the podium that uses drafts. Like a lot of other modern systems ...

Understood, yes it does get a bit involved to update your calcs elsewhere.
Your suggestion is not unreasonable, but FWIW I'd say that Podio is unlikely to have a concept of "draft" items that are automatically excluded from other parts of the system like calculations. Podio is built as a user-friendly general purpose relational database, with card views available. But it's not specifically a "card" system like, say, Trello.
