Linking Xencall to Podio

Hey guys, not sure if you use xencall at all, if you do, how did you link it to Podio? Appreciate any feedback...thanks!

  Hi Jordan,

  Thanks for contacting Podio Support.

  Xencall is a 3rd party application compatible with Podio, but unfortunately, we do not provide support or have set up instructions because they are a different company.

  Usually, when you use an integration, the 3rd party company that you select will be able to assist you with the setup.

  In addition to the Zapier option, I've built integrations with XenCall that embed a Podio webform or MomentumTools webform into the XenCall interface.

  I'm running software (Software A) on our local server that has a number of contacts (ie, Name, Address, Phone, etc).

  Using the API from 'Software A', I'm looking to retrieve these contacts (ie, Name, Address, Phone, etc) and POST these contacts in my Podio workspace via Podio API.

  My question is: What Operations should my developer be using with Podio API? I'm thinking the "Get Contacts" operation?

  Heather Schimmel - if your developer wants to use the API, this would be the endpoint to use:

  https://developers.podio.com/doc/items/add-new-item-22362

  That being said, your developer may find it easier to post the data to a Podio Workflow Automation (PWA) webhook flow, and the create the Podio item using an action in that flow:

  1. Webhook flow: https://workflow-automation.podio.com/help/webhooks.php

  2. Create item: https://workflow-automation.podio.com/help/action-create-item.php

  Note that PWA is part of the Podio Premium tier.
