Re-Styling Podio
Hello all,
While working as UI/UX designer at one of the Anga Group companies (Anga is a holding where all the companies work with Podio), I was slightly bothered with some interface details that I thought could be crafted differently and started to write CSS to override the native Podio style, in the end we came with a many new styling iterations from user experience feedback.
All you have to do if you would like to try it is to install the Stylish (Chrome/Firefox) extension and instal the Podianga style:
https://userstyles.org/styles/178333/podianga
The new icons are all SVG from FontAwesome chosen and aligned one by one to replace the non-retina raster images.
There are still some bugs that may come to surface as it's all an experiment that became a solution for all team users, now we have more than 117 people working with this re-styled Podio and we've been receiving constantly great feedbacks.
We have overridden Podio logo's with the holding's just for fun, if more people may be interested we could release an unbranded version =)

Hi Eduardo,
I installed your style and actually really like it! It gives the UI a very fresh & modern feel, good job!
Personally I would prefer some more colors in the UI, or maybe keep the top menu bar in Podio blue.
Hopefully the Podio team will see this too and get some inspiration :)

Also glad to see that our Power Tools don't break with the new style :)

Like this skin. And this is what I love about Podio users and developers, you never stop innovating and inspiring us! Keep it going!
On that note, glad to let you know that we have released a new official look for Podio this week. This includes a brand new color palette, modern & retina ready icons and many more updates. Do check out details here:
Hope you like it! Cheers,
