New Video/Audio Calling solution needed ASAP

When I purchased Podio for my team last year, one of the advertised features that made it attractive and comparable to competitors was: "Video and audio calling enable a complete, real time collaboration experience – right inside of Podio." This is still on the features list (https://podio.com/site/features/features-index), but after researching further, it is a known issue that it hasn't worked for quite some time (maybe even years). 

Now, during COVID-19 pandemic outbreak while employees all over the world are working from home, is when Podio users need this feature most to effectively communicate/collaborate and stay productive. What better a time to pull your resources together and rapidly develop a new video & audio calling solution? I would be happy to offer development/testing resources wherever needed and I'm sure there are others within the Podio Community who would as well.

Because of Podio's outstanding quality, I made the unfortunate assumption that this feature worked without proper testing. Now I'm in a predicament where this lack of functionality could force our team to consider competitor's platforms if it isn't fixed soon.

    I agree. We need robust communication tools now that we are working remotely and offices across the world are in the same boat. Podio should live up to what they promised. If not today, have a plan in place to fill this gap as quickly as possible.

    I deeply apologize that we are no longer able to provide the use this feature at this time. However, we are currently in the process of looking for an alternative.

    In the meantime, a good recommendation would be to use Zoom, which is available here: https://zoom.us/.

    I agree! Please integrate Zoom or Google Meet asap. Podio still shows the appear.in logo as an option when you select Add To Calendar in a meeting App. This company changed to https://whereby.com/ some time back... this is VERY old and outdated info. Please update us to something working and more productive as soon as possible. Zoom, Google Meet, these are all robust tools that the world has been using for months now during COVID-19. We'd love a Podio integration asap!

    While you wait for more upvotes, how about hiding that button which does nothing but causes confusion and an error notification for all users that happen to click it?

    Why not simply change the Video link to add a customization link per organisation to allow for a link direct to a companies Zoom or Google Meet configuration - would be simple to implement surely ! (particularly as Citrix haven't bothered to actually make the broken Video chat link work in the last 5 years !)

    Podio continues to be a great tool, but it's lack of development and investment by Citrix.

    It looks like Podio is outdated, it is not even possible to have a videoconference in the application, there are out there other applications that are becoming better. Hopefully soon there are some improvements. I haven't seen any new features for years..

    Whoa, getting ready to celebrate the anniversary of this problem led me to realise the video call button is no longer there! Great improvement!

    Video calling is still listed in Podio features, though:
