Notifying a Podio user to complete an action

Hi Guys,

I am trying to create an action where when a deliverable is completed, two things occur:

- Firstly an auto-response text populates in the right-hand side chat area asking the user to fill out a short survey (the survey link is included) and it tags the user. So I have this set up correctly.

- Secondly, the user is notified somehow that they have been invited to fill out the survey. I currently have this set as a task, but not everyone uses Podio here a lot, and light users don't see/use notifications.

So, ticket is completed > auto-response fires invite to fill in survey > project owner of ticket also gets a notification to fill the survey out.

Hope someone can help :]

I do a workflow for things like the second item where it sends and email with a URL to the app item or text as appropriate.

Using Globiflow we send a simple email with the link to the Podio item where they should act upon.

You can refine even with a "responsable" APP with a category MAIL/PODIO preference and only send mail or only add comment directly in Podio depending on their choice ...

Hey Bethany,

I'd be keen to know how this is done.

I also don't have GlobiFlow if it's used with that.

Thanks :]

I use GlobiFlow and in looking at the built-in workflow, you can't send messages, only assign tasks or create comments.
