Hi,

I have got an app with employee details including date of birth.

Is there anyway I can automatically generate a list of birthday. For example at the end of October an list automatically gets sent out to our office admin for birthdays in November?

Is this possible?

  Hi!
  I use globiflow to let people know about birthdays.
  The flow do a comment in an item where all my members are followers.
  It extract just the day and the month of the birthday and if it match with the current day, then it let members know.

  Do you use a date field for this? Also, do you have Globiflow?

  Yes I have globiflow and the date of birth is a Date Field.

  I suggest to: create a view in Podio where Birth Date field == current month. Create an app to get a place to store the PDF you will create (ex: birthday files app, you can place it in another workspace).

  In GF, trigger a flow in the By date or day section (top of the flow tree). Set trigger to the 1st day of month. Get Podio view (the one created before). Create item in the dummy app with a relationship field to your employee app with the items that get view give. Check the hook event in OPT.

  Create another flow in the birthday file app that will trigger on create. Get referenced item to employee. Create HTML table, Create PDF. Do what you want after with the PDF (send it by email?)

  Hi Jean-Claude,

  I have tried this however when selecting current month as a view nothing appears. Could this be because its not the same year?

  Yes. You need to use the a kind of "Next birthday date" (ex: he is born 10/10/2010... next birthday will be 10/10/2017 actually). You may need to use GF to update this.
