HIPAA Security and Podio

 Podio is potentially one of the most powerful enabling platforms for clinical workflow, clinical data capture/sharing and secure collaboration.  It is amazing to me that there has not yet been a commitment to HIPAA compliance, which seems not that big of a leap given the inherent security of Podio, and in fact a privacy model that out performs many electronic medical records.  

As someone who has tried to apply Podio broadly for healthcare related workflow, it would be good to get an update on this from a strategic perspective. WIthout that commitment to HIPAA compliance Podio will be shut out of usage in the healthcare arena other than what is driven just by the consumer or for non clinical use.

  Quick Base is a great HIPPA compliant alternative. We've been using it sucessfully for over a year now.
