emailing contact

I clicked on my contact to email him, but when I do my computer's outlook email opens. I would like to send the email from my gmail address I opened my Podio with. Does anyone know if there is way to make this happen?

  @Cynthia;

  In short, you will need to make gmail your default email program in your operating system (OS).  So, the details of how this is done will depend on which operating system (OS) you are using.  If you are using Windows 10 (W10), since there is no "official" Gmail App for W10, you will need to do this "indirectly".  There are a couple of ways you can do this.  The easiest (and most straightforward) is to:

  1.  Set up the W10 email App (called "Mail and Calendar") to use your gmail account (see this link for instructions: https://goo.gl/52zAWG) ; then

  2.  Tell W10 to use the "Mail and Calendar" app as your default email app (see this link for instructions: .https://goo.gl/8LZ8ZN)
