better options for Related Items

Related Items are interesting though to make them useful, they need to be more flexible and functional.

The Reference Badges in the Related Items are would be more useful if they offered...

1. more fluid layout options 
2. more fields be visible and editable
3. different Reference Badge layouts depending on which app it appears in
4. multiple reference badges items optionally be combined into table format where all fields are editable (related lists)
5. new items could be created from the Related Items area

  I'd also like to add to this that the "Related Items" section at the bottom of an item should be collapsible/expandible and collapsed by default. This would make for less confusion and allow the user to get to a certain app's related items more easily.
