07.09.2016 - Faster and Stronger Notifications Viewer
Today we are releasing a new improved version of our notifications dropdown with added functionality.
Read the full details via our blog.
We really hope the updated design and functionality will make it easier and faster to manage notifications and access your work.
Let us know what you think!

In our organization, because there are many workspaces and sure lot of notifications, we set the first priority to check the mentions. Now, we add notifications page that is filtered to only mentions, to the bookmark on our Chrome browser. So we can access the mentions right away.
Thus, we would love to have a "Mentions" filter button in the notifications viewer.

@Bian, great input. This is something we would like to add in the future (similar to iOS) but it requires a lot of load on our servers so we are not fully ready yet. Hopefully we can add this in a future version!
@VRK, I cannot reproduce the issue you have in Firefox on version 48. Could you please submit a support request with information on the Firefox version you use? Then we can fix it. Also make sure your browser is updated to the most recent version.

@sara I think it works well and I prefer the look and UX. One thing that would be great is if you can tick off tasks competed directly from the notification pull down pane. Currently it shows "Your Task ?? is due soon" maybe it would be better to have a button to say if its completed to save you clicking through to the task to tick off...
Thanks.

@Dimitris, great input - we're thinking about adding better short-cuts like completing tasks in the viewer in the future!
@Aubri, yes - we do hope to be able to support @mentions in the future however it adds a lot of extra load to the database and we want to make sure we can support the functionality without making Podio slow. Hopefully it will come in the future.
@Flemming, interesting idea - why would you like to change position? Are you using "Mark all as read" more often and thereby tend to click the left corner more often?

Will the mobile version be seeing any similar updates? I would like to be able to view unread mention notifications on my phone and tablet and be able to star them but currently can't see a way to do this.
Currently there is All, @Me and Unread (which is unread all) but there is not @Me Unread. It would be nice to have the same choices as the desktop.
Also the ability to start a notification as in the desktop browser version would be appreciated too. Then I can truly switch from one device to the other seamlessly.
On my tablet I will open a browser and go to podio.com vs using the app but it seems slower than the app so would prefer to use that if possible. And using the browser version on my phone is prohibitive.
