Invoice button to Paypal Payment
Hi,
Our company uses Podio and Globiflow together to create efficient PDF invoices for customers when they are interested in purchasing a specific product.
Recently we have had several inquiries about paying by PayPal.
We are looking to have a 'Buy Now' button on our invoice PDF which then goes to a PayPal payment. The click of the button should take the buyer to the payment page with the details of the product including its price. They then enter their details and confirm the payment to our PayPal account.
Is this possible? It would make our customers very happy!
Many thanks,
-
Look at this: http://www.globiflow.com/blog/implementing-a-payment-form-in-podio-using-globiflow-and-jotform.php
This is possible and this is one of many possibilities.

Hi Jean-Claude,
Thank you for the information.
I had looked at this yesterday, and it did catch my attention. However it would be another software for us to invest in and we would prefer not to do that. It also requires manual entry of each product and we have over 200. It would be a pain to have to manually edit each product in the form each time there was a price change or a new product version.
Do you have any alternatives?
Thanks,

Hi, I am trying to do the exact same thing.
We are having an event and i need the participants to fill out a form and depending on their choices, they will have a different price to pay. I need the form to connect to paypal and list the correct amount.
Did you finally figure out how to do it?
Thanks

Hi Rainer,
there's more than one solution depending of your needs. I guess this is why there's no solution posted anywhere.
If you want to send an invoice, you can use the POST action in GF to make a request to Paypal API (https://developer.paypal.com/docs/api/invoicing/). And use webhooks to receive information about status and payment received.
If you need to embed something, you can use GF external link flow and create a paypal form button/integration (https://developer.paypal.com/docs/classic/paypal-payments-standard/integration-guide/formbasics/)
And I think you can also create some payment button into your account and use it correctly in External link.
The easiest way actually is to use a third party form app like Jotform/Cognito...
