Export/New view from Selected Items

Hi,

Since bulk editing seems to never arrive, would it be easier or possible to implement the following feature instead?:

1. Export selected items ONLY instead of all items in a view, regardless of which items are selected.
2. Creating a New View (or group) with the Selected Items ONLY.

I often don't want to export all items in a view, but a selected handful instead. In addition, creating a new view for these items helps to organise and categorise items, and would be really helpful!?

  bump! I think there is so much more you can do with the checkboxes in table view, which is currently only being used to delete items! Please at least allow some kind of hook/url correspondence so developers can make use of them!? 

  eg. Save checked items into a "View". Using it as a type of filter.... surely that is not difficult!?

  I would add to this request, the ability to filter for just items checked (from the table view of an app). Thanks
