date format in workflows

I need to be able to set the date format in workflows via '@Today'. We use Globi Flow. When a date is set as text the format changes from dd.mm.yyyy to dd/mm/yyyy.

  Is there no way like in Java Script (moment(@date).format("dd.mm.yy"))?

  In GF it is:

  date("d.m.y", strtotime([current date]))
