Calculate the % difference of Progress over a month

Hi I'm new to Podio and the forums.

I'm looking for a way to see the % difference in progress over a month. So if an item has progress of 20% at the start of the month and at the end of the month it is now 50% the % difference will be 30%. Since Podio records everything I was hoping there would be a way to have a calculated field that has the % difference for the month.

Going into each item to edit or update a field is not an option due to the number of items this would need to be done on.

Currently my thoughts are to export a view to excel and perform the calcs there, but would love to contain everything in Podio.

  Hi Kent,

  this is not possible wich a calculation field. A calculation doesn't store data like: Progress = 20 at first day of month. "Progress" would be a variable in you calculation and when the value of the variable changes, the whole calculation changes. And the calculation can't identify if the current date is the first or last of a month. You would need a Podio extension like Globiflow and minium one additional number field.

  Thanks Rainer for the quick reply, making sure I don't go looking where an answer can't be found :). Are you able to provide some guidance on how to achieve this with globiflow (I'm currently running a trial). I have approx 50 items that would need this done each month.
