Map coordinates

I would like to use coordinates rather than addresses for my map item. Is that possible and if not, will this be made possible anytime soon?

  Hi Veronica,

  Our new and improved Map field allows for coordinates to be used!

  Hi,

  I tried entering coordinates but the map doesn't seem to be reflecting the correct spot. It shows an area nearby instead.

  What about Plus+Codes? They are new ... but so much easier to use than longitude / latitude.
