Hiding Activity Stream in apps

I'd like the ability to temporarily hide the activity stream on the side of my app. This is important because some of the items in my reference badges are other referred apps that I cannot see/click on when the screen is tightened (because of the activity stream on the side). I suspect that if the app were able to take up the entire screen, then I'd be able to see the relevant information in the reference badge which would allow me to easily navigate to it.

Does anyone else have this issue/concern/question?

  This would be a great feature anywhere an activity list is shown. Hide them exactly the same way the View panel can be hidden while looking at Item lists (i.e. the [<] button).

  I agree! Esp with so many laptop users - only MOST USED areas should be on-screen during use.

  The AS is too much 'administrative overhead' (to use Edward Tufte's term.

  My deepest apologies that we currently do not offer this feature in Podio. However, what I have done is to update our feature request list to include your comments and concerns with regard to it.
