Custom label for phone field

Being able to choose custom labels for phone fields would be pretty good here. Work, home, mobile etc. are great, but we're finding we need to be able to customise them more. i.e. HQ, Nottingham Branch, and other such things.

  Agreed - we're also finding the need to have custom labels. Please make it so Podio! :)

  Yes! I want to add an "OLD" label. Sometimes people change numbers. I don't want to deleted the number in case i need to reference it somehow. The OLD label would make it obvious that the number belonged to the person but is not in use anymore.
  Also, being able to change the label for multiple language support would be useful.

  This applies to us too. 

  I noticed "main", "work fax" and "private fax" were recently added to the list of phone number types.

   

  We need to label many as "unverified"? It would be useful to mark which phone numbers we know are good, and which have just been submitted online, and we're not sure of yet.

   

  Similarly, it would be nice to have the same thing for emails.

  Are there any updates on custom labels (types) for the phone field? For example, when we research telephone numbers, it would be great to have phone laberls (types) such as verified, unverified, and invalid. 
  Maybe, is it possible to change the description of "Mobile" to something like "Verified"?

  It is not possible that even now it is not possible to associate a telephone with a person, with a name.
  I may find myself 2 contact telephone numbers, both business or private .. and I cannot write Sara's number and Mario's number ....

  I'm sure everyone has this need sooner or later.

  Is there anything in progress to make a custom label for phone? When I am cold calling for new prospects I would like to have labels such as "Bad#" "Disconnected" "Verified"  and so forth rather than just work, mobile, etc. Please make some updates... this post started 8 years ago and nothing has been done WTH. Seems like a simple update. Thank you.
