Unexplained Vague Podio API Error that we want to stop happening...

We keep getting this error randomly when adding multiple items using the Podio API via itDuzzit, its completely random and has no explanation:

The Podio item could not be added. This is what we got back from Podio: The server took too long to respond, please try again.

What does this mean and how do I fix it?

  Hi Matthew,

  It seems like something it timing out, but I'm not sure whether it's Podio or itDuzzit. Could you provide an example of the API request you're making?

  For example, we do a Filter Items call, and then loop all the items that we get from that. In that loop we then create a new item in a different app for each item we got in the filter. Randomly an item can get this error and then it fails and wont create an item, but then the next one in the loop works perfectly fine. I'm 99% sure the error is coming from Podio, as itDuzzit gives different errors when it has an issue. This error is the response directly from the Podio API.

  I'm not sure exactly what you're wanting when you say you want the "API request", can you help/clarify?

  To diagnose the issue it would be very helpful if you can provide the HTTP request (URL and post body) which is made against the API, as well as the full response (preferably including headers). Otherwise it's very hard to find out what's going on.
