    Hi Mathieu,

You can do this without any code using workflows. Please see the following page: https://help.podio.com/hc/en-us/articles/201194467-Automating-workflows

    Best,
    Andreas

    Hi Andreas,

It's for a personal dashboard based on our agile apps...

Workflow are excellent but limited inside podio isn't?

    Regards,
    M

If you use workflows, then you can simply read the value from the item and use that on your dashboard. That way you avoid messing around with item revisions and finding the revision where the value changed. I think it's going to be much easier for you. :)

Sorry Andreas, but I don't understand how I can access to the data checked with the workflow on a API ...
    Is it possible ?
The doc just explain we can list or update flows but don't read flows action, isn't ?

Sorry for not being clear. Workflows will only help you register when the change happened, you'll still need to use the API to pull out the data itself. The second part (pulling out the data) will be much easier if you use a workflow to record the change though.

If I understand you correctly, you want to identify when a specific category field was changed. According to your original question, your idea was examine the item revisions to identify this point in time. My suggestion is to record when the category field changed using Podio Workflows, i.e. "when category field changes set my field to current time". You configure workflows via the Podio web interface, see the previous link (you can do it via the API, but that's much more complicated). Once this is set up, you can either use the Podio web interface to review when the field was changed or you can use the API to pull out this information.
