Option to hide relationships
When an external user creates a new item, I want to add a workflow that creates an item in another workspace that should not be seen by this external user. To do that, I have to create a relationship first.
However, the user will see this relationship. Depending on which way I make the relationship, the user will even be able to change or delete this relationship. This will also enable him to see all items of the related app. I don't want external users to see the relationship.
I also pull pricing information from another app. Whenever an Item of my "leads" app pulls a price or any other product information, I see a relationship popping up on the product item. This would easily add up to hundreds of relationships. It distracts the user. I want to hide these relationships for non-admins.
Is there any way to do that? If not, I guess Podio isn't for us.

I agree that seeing the "related items" connected to a record is distracting and for some apps, not helpful - it can also be confusing to a user, because when items are related to each other (from both sides of each app), there is duplication. Could you add an option for admin to hide the related items section, like we have the option to disable the 'add files' field?
In general I find Podio's flexibility its greatest strength (from a design perspective) - but sometimes that flexibility adds a lot of additional visual 'noise' to the apps, which makes it less friendly and accessible to basic users of the system I've designed. I would like the ability to reduce more of that noise. Thanks for considering!
